Jeff Bocan, former Senior Vice President at mophie, oversaw global sales, strategic partnerships and business development, and worked across many areas of mophie’s operations, including marketing, product development, legal and human resources.
During mophie’s initial ascent, Jeff served on the Board of Directors for nearly three years (as the venture capital investor in mophie), before joining the senior management team full time in early 2013 to help oversee the company’s rapid growth and corporate expansion.
Prior to joining mophie, Jeff played a variety of key essential roles including venture capitalist for 13 years, last serving as a Managing Partner at Beringea, where he sourced, led, or managed the investments for 35 of Beringea’s portfolio companies and served on 22 corporate boards across several venture funds including mophie. His work previous to that involved an early-stage tech VC in London, marketing roles for BMW of North America, and policy advocacy and political analysis for the Sierra Club.

Jeff earned a B.A. in Government and Sociology from the University of Notre Dame, graduating magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa; and a Master of Business Administration with high honors from the University of Virginia.
Jeff currently resides in Newport Beach, California with his wife and four children.
