Tristan Snyder joined Intrepid Investment Bankers as Vice President and currently leads the firm’s Digital Media & Technology investment banking practice. He possesses more than a decade of investment banking experience focusing on mergers and acquisitions and debt and equity capital raises. Prior to joining Intrepid, he served as Vice President, co-founding member, and co-head of C.W. Downer & Co.’s Technology, Media, and Interactive Services investment banking practice. Previously, he co-founded McGladrey’s Media and Technology investment banking practice, and held positions in investment banking at The Presidio Group and Merrill Lynch. Snyder has completed more than 35 transactions creating nearly $2 billion of enterprise value for private and public companies across a diverse set of industries, including: Digital, Internet, and Interactive Media and Advertising, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), Cloud Technology, Ad Tech, Social, Mobile, eCommerce, and Technology-Enabled Business Services (TEBS). Selected transactions highlighting his execution experience include: the sale of Drawloop Technologies to Nintex; the sale of Threshold Interactive to Zealot Networks; Ice Services’ equity and debt capital raise led by Hawthorn Equity Partners and Wells Fargo (NYSE:WFC); SMITH’s debt capital raise from Comerica (NYSE:CMA); the cross-border sale of CommerceServer.net to SiteCore; the sale of HomeGain.com to Reply!; Ascentium’s (nka SMITH) cross-border acquisition of Cactus Commerce; The Higher Gear Group’s leveraged recapitalization led by H.I.G. Capital; the sale of tangle.com to Salem Communications (NASDAQ:SALM); the sale of Radiance Technologies to Comcast (NASDAQ:CMCS.A); and the sale of Realty Generator to Market Leader (f.k.a. HouseValues.com). Tristan Snyder graduated from the University of Washington’s Michael G. Foster School of Business with Dean’s List honors, where he earned a B.A. in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. He serves as an Advisory Panel Member for Advertising Age. He is a General Securities Principal, holding FINRA series 24, 7, 79 and 63 licenses.
